Letter of intent signed with a North American feedstock owner.

The agreement covers characterisation and processing trials on a legacy tailings deposit held by an operating mine in North America.

Green Manganese has signed a letter of intent with the owner of a legacy tailings facility in North America. Under the agreement, the two parties will characterise the deposit and run processing trials on representative samples.

Legacy tailings are the company’s primary feedstock thesis. Material that conventional smelting cannot treat economically — from around 10 percent manganese — sits in place, already mined, already crushed, and in most cases already a closure liability for its owner.

Trial results will determine the scope of a follow-on processing agreement. No new mining is contemplated at the site.
